How this website handles information. This is a starting draft for review – it is not legal advice and should be checked against the practice's HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.
What this site collects
This website does not create an account for you and does not store health information. If you send a message through the contact form or by email, we receive what you type. Please do not include medical or private details – email and web forms are not secure channels.
Scheduling
Appointments are booked through Acuity Scheduling. Information you enter there is handled under Acuity’s own privacy policy and the practice’s intake agreements.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics with IP anonymization to understand which pages are read. You can block analytics with a browser extension or by enabling “Do Not Track”.
Clinical records
Records of psychotherapy are kept separately from this website and are protected under HIPAA and New York State law. The Notice of Privacy Practices is provided at intake.
